NORMAN HIBBERT
Norman has worked as a private practitioner for nearly 20 years. He qualified as a Physiotherapist at Wolverhampton School of Physiotherapy in 1990. He worked in the NHS for 10 years, reaching the rank of Clinical Specialist. He was involved in the day-to-day teaching and guidance of the junior physiotherapists in the department and assisted Orthopaedic Consultants in managing their caseloads by assessing patients on their behalf.​

​In 1999, Norman obtained his Post Graduate Diploma in Manipulative Therapy and became a member of the MACP. This is an advanced field of physiotherapy, specialising in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and manipulation, along with an ongoing education in this field.​
Norman has previously worked as an examiner of qualified physiotherapists continuing their education in this field at Sheffield Hallam University.
Norman has attended numerous post-graduate courses to broaden his knowledge and hone his skills, allowing him to reach a diagnosis of the presenting problems his clients attend the clinic with. He is proficient in the use of acupuncture and uses this modality for pain management, helping his patients to reduce the amount of the compensatory dysfunctions and postural adaptations they adopt as a result of being in pain.
Norman enjoys rehabilitating his patients to achieve a fully functional level. He deals with patients who have undergone total hip and knee replacements, post-operative fractures of both upper and lower limbs and spinal problems that need mobilising along with postural and core/deep postural re-education.
Norman has a hands-on approach to treating his clients and is notable in the assessment of muscle spasms and joint stiffness. This also extends to his treatment selection, where a hands-on approach is employed along with other modalities such as electrotherapy, patient-specific exercise prescription, taping for muscle re-education, and acupuncture.
In his spare time, Norman enjoys sports participation, regularly plays football, squash, and tennis, and attends the gym. He also enjoys discussing the status of the Arsenal football team with anyone who will listen!
GRAHAM HINDLEY
Graham Hindley, BSc Hons Physiotherapy, is qualified as a mature student from Liverpool University and has almost twenty years’ experience.
Sharing the workload alongside a Nurse Consultant in an elderly rehab setting, supported by a variety of consultant clinicians, has given Graham extensive knowledge of multiple pathologies, imaging, investigations and medications that enable him to relate to a wide cross-section of patients.
Through a continued involvement in sports, Graham has had the opportunity to work with professional rugby players, as well as helping to provide physiotherapy to competitors at the Isle of Man TT.
Graham has a special interest in muscular pain and movement dysfunction, using acupuncture and electrotherapy, alongside predominantly hands-on massage techniques, to help patients maximise their potential. Through advice and education, he aims to assist patients in self-treating outside formal treatment sessions.
